Sponsorship Renewal – Spenborough & District Athletics Club

We are thrilled to announce that we have renewed our sponsorship of the Spenborough & District Athletics Club for the next 12 months. 

Located on Bradford Road in Liversedge, the club provides a range of groups at all levels and is home to a variety of teams from road running to athletics and cross country. 

Our managing director James Watts said: “It is brilliant that we are able to continue supporting Spenborough & District Athletics Club for another year. My daughter Poppy is a member of the club and recently competed in the Under 15’s long jump and 200 metres race at the spring open and had a fantastic day, so it is a venue we know very well as a family.   

“The club is a vital part of the West Yorkshire athletics scene and is one of just three venues which can host competitions in our region so it is even more important that we do all we can to help secure its future.”

On Sunday 7th April the club hosted their annual spring open event which marks the beginning of the outdoor season. The event was a fantastic opportunity for everyone at the club to come together and compete across a huge range of disciplines. For the new season, regular club nights will be held Monday to Thursday from 18:45 to 20:00, with plenty of opportunities for new members to get involved.
