Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in style this bank holiday weekend with the fantastic range of events happening across Bradford, perfect for all the family.

The Bradford Great Jubilee Tea – Thursday 2nd June

City Park

Featuring the biggest cake stall in the north, Bradford’s Great Jubilee Tea is the perfect way to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. From 6:30 pm there will be stalls offering food from around the world, plus live music, and entertainment.

The night will end with the lighting of the official jubilee beacon. Joining in with thousands of communities across the commonwealth, the jubilee beacon is a symbol of unity across towns and borders and is part of a long tradition of celebrating coronations, weddings, and of course jubilees.

Stay in the park until 9:45 pm to see the beacon lit up!

 Family Fun in the Park – Friday 3rd June

Wibsey Park

Running from 11 am to 3 pm, the family fun day is a perfect way to spend the bank holiday with your children. Wander down to Wibsey park to find inflatables and a climbing tower, plus activities including dance and arts and crafts.

 Jubilee Street Party – Saturday 4th June

Bradford Industrial Museum

Step back into the 1950s this bank holiday weekend with Bradford Museums.

Dress up in your finest 1950s outfits, and head down to Bradford Industrial Museum from 11 am to 4 pm to join in with the street party. Complete with outdoor games and a 50s band, the street party will be a fantastic event for all the family. So grab your picnic and journey back to the era of the Queen’s coronation.

During the Jubilee weekend, you will also be able to visit the “Platinum Records” collection which features an archive of photos from the coronation and royal visits!

Big 80s Jubilee Party – Saturday 4th June 

Odsal Stadium

Hosted by Bradford’s own Gareth Gates, the Big 80s Jubilee Party will bring together some of the best 80s acts including Martin Kemp, Sister Sledge and Sonia. The event is open to all ages and is running from 1:30 pm until 10:30 pm, with a fantastic range of food stalls, a unique festival VIP area, and a 60-meter bar.

With very limited tickets remaining, this is sure to be a fantastic event!

Jubilee Community BBQ – Sunday 5th June

The Rockwell Community Centre

Hosted by Bloomin Buds Theatre Company, the jubilee community BBQ is a free family event running from 12 pm till 4 pm.  This free family day out will showcase a variety of stalls, food and drink vendors, plus local entertainment
