National Science & Media Museum Activities 

Various Locations 

Monday 12th – Friday 16th February 

This half-term, the National Science & Media Museum is hosting a series of fantastic family activities in community spaces and shopping centres across Bradford. Suitable for all ages, the hands-on events range from an exploring space show and planetariums to story time with bestselling author and illustrator Kate Pankhurst.

Family Craft Activities 

Bradford Cathedral 

Tuesday 13th February 

Welcome in the spring at Bradford Cathedral, with children’s crafting sessions embracing nature, flowers and woodland creatures! Alongside the spring crafting, there will also be colouring and quizzes throughout the sessions. 

Families are welcome to join the guided tours of the cathedral at 11am or 2pm, or feel free to host your own self-guided tour. 

Both morning and afternoon sessions are available but don’t forget to register a space for your children here. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult. 

The Twitchers Museum Adventure

Cliffe Castle Museum 

Saturday 10th –  Sunday 25th February 

Explore the wildlife at Cliffe Castle Museum and Park as part of this special activity organised by Kids in Museums and Walker Books. Celebrating the release of Feather, the new book from bestselling children’s author M.G. Leonard, the family trail invites you to find all of the feathered friends on the activity sheet to receive a free Twitchers sticker.

Scout Den Building 

Bradford Industrial Museum 

Tuesday 13th February 

Children of all ages are invited to learn how to build a scout den at Bradford Industrial Museum this half-term. Using just natural materials and their imagination, your children can learn how to create a secret den to enjoy with their friends and family. 

Head to Bradford Industrial Museum to take part in the sessions which will be running 11am to 12.30pm, and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
