The Robert Watts team are delighted to announce our new sponsorship deal with Spenborough & District Athletics club.
Located on Bradford Road in Liversedge, the club is home to a variety of groups at all levels, including the senior track and field team who compete in Division 1NE of the North of England League. For the upcoming season, Robert Watts will be sponsoring both the club and the Under 11s team, as well as the fantastic new kit which proudly displays our company branding.
Managing director James Watts said: “We are very pleased to be able to offer our support to Spenborough & District Athletics club as we know first-hand the fantastic opportunities offered to young people and the wider community.
“The Princess Mary Athletics Stadium, home to the athletics club, is the only track in Kirklees for clubs and is only one of three within West Yorkshire for training and competitions to be held at, so sponsorships are vital not just for the community in Cleckheaton, but for all of West Yorkshire athletics.”
On the 26th March, the Spenborough & District Athletics club will be hosting their spring open to mark the beginning of the new outdoor season. The day will be an excellent opportunity for young athletes to kick off the new season and display their talent and training for family and friends, plus a brilliant chance for the local community to show their support for the club.
